Elton Aubry Bullock, Jr., 74 of Groves died March 7, 2011 at Summer Place Nursing and Rehabilitation in Beaumont.   Born August 25, 1936 in New Iberia, Louisiana and longtime resident of Groves, he was the son of Lucy Soulier Bullock and Elton A. Bullock.  He was a graduate of the University of Southwest Louisiana, where he earned a degree in chemical engineering.  Elton lived and worked most of his life in southeast Texas as a chemical engineer, he was a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers, having retired from Huntsman Corporation.

He is survived by his children, David Bullock and his wife Nancy of The Woodlands, Rebecca Daniels and her husband Paul of Orange, Mark Bullock of Houston, and Matt Bullock of Beaumont; brother, Stephen Bullock and his wife Jackie of New Orleans; grandchildren, Stephanie Miller, Jacob Bullock, Justin Daniels, Michelle Daniels, Carly Bullock Castro, and Hunter Bullock; niece and nephews, Josh Bullock, Andrew Bullock, and Camille Bullock; and numerous other family and friends.

A rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, 2011 with a gathering of family and friends to follow at Broussard’s, 1605 N Major Drive, Beaumont. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 10, 2011 at Broussard’s.  Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 11, 2011 at Holy Family Cemetery in New Iberia, Louisiana.
