Michael K. Kilgore, 60, of Beaumont, died Sunday, March 6, 2011, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas in Beaumont.

A native of DeQuincy, Louisiana, Michael was born December 25, 1950, to Nora Dean Chitty Kilgore and Kenneth Kilgore; and had lived most of his life in the Beaumont area. He was a custodian with Christ Community Church.

Survivors include his mother, Nora Dean Kilgore of Winnie; sisters, Charlene Kilgore Smith and her husband Earl of Hamshire and Arlene Kilgore Gaspard and her husband Roy of Port Arthur; several nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews; aunt and Godmother, Carol Land and her husband Winston of Lake Charles, Louisiana; and uncle, Larry Chitty of Bell City, Louisiana.

His memorial service will be 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, 2011, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.  A gathering of his family and friends will begin at 4:00 p.m. until time of service Wednesday at Broussard’s.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Broussard’s.
