David E. Forey, 49, of Nederland, died Sunday, February 27, 2011, at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center Houston.  A native and lifelong resident of Nederland, David was born November 18, 1961 to Pearl Marie LeJeune Forey and James Camille Forey.  He was employed with U.P.S. as a driver.

David was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Houston Astros and enjoyed playing golf, guitar and listening to music. David also relished beating his brothers at washers and making others laugh.

He is survived by his wife, Lori Charboneau Forey; daughter, Courtney Marie Forey; parents, James and Pearl Forey, all of Nederland; brothers, Leonard Forey and his wife Norma of Port Neches and Richard Forey and his wife Patti of La Marque; sister, Neysa Sims and her husband Gary of Pineland; grandmother, Agnes Forey of Port Arthur; and numerous nieces and nephews.

David is preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Forey.

His funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, March 3, 2011 at Wesley United Methodist Church, 3515 Helena Avenue, Nederland, with burial to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 12th Street, Nederland.  A gathering of his family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, 2011, at Wesley United Methodist Church, in Nederland.
