Velma Howard Norris, 86, of Beaumont died Saturday, February 26, 2011 at her residence. A native and lifelong resident of Beaumont, she was born November 8, 1924, to Lewis Burnet Howard and Mabel Irene (Lynch) Howard.  She retired from R. O. Williams Insurance and a member of First Church of God in Beaumont.   Survivors include her sons, Tommy Norris of Beaumont and Dale Norris of Houston; daughter-in-law, Pam Norris of Houston; granddaughters, Velma Kay Croucher of Beaumont and Natalie Armentor of Boerney; great granddaughter, Katelynne Croucher of Beaumont; great grandson, Nicholas Croucher of Beaumont; and extended family and friends.   She is preceded in death by her husband, Clovice Norris; parents, Speck and Mabel Irene Howard; and her beloved daughter-in-law, Millie Norris.   Her funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 1, 2011, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont with burial to follow at Magnolia Cemetery. A gathering of her family and friends will be Monday, February 28, 2011, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., at Broussard’s
