Mary Elizabeth LeNormand, 84, of Lovelady died Sunday, February 20, 2011, at her residence.  She was born November 27, 1926, in Saratoga to Lawrence Frances and Mary Elizabeth (Castro) Pichoff. Having resided in Trinity, Texas for twenty years, she was a medication aide with Kountze Nursing Center.

Survivors include her son, Lawrence Hugh McEwin and his wife Sandra of Lovelady; step-children, Dana Frazier and her husband Bubba of Kountze, Penny Hill and her husband Tommy of Kountze, Keith LeNormand of Beaumont, and Lana LeNormand of Beaumont; daughter-in-law, Barbara McEwin of Lumberton; seven grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husbands, James David McEwin and Albert Pete LeNormand; son, David McEwin; daughter, Nola Beth Mostek; son-in-law, John Mostek; and six brothers and sisters.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 24, 2011, at Broussard’s, 530 W. Monroe, Kountze with burial to follow at Pine Ridge Cemetery in Sour Lake. A gathering of family and friends will be Wednesday, February 23, 2011, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., at Broussard’s.
