Mary Anne Lemoine 
September 8, 1920 - February 18, 2011

Mary Anne Lemoine, 90, of Groves, went to meet her Lord Friday, February 18, 2011, at Oak Grove Nursing Home in Groves.  A resident of Port Arthur since 1927, she was born to Edith Barras and Etienne Dugas in St. Martinville, Louisiana on September 8, 1920.  During the war, Mary worked for the canning department with Texaco Island in Port Arthur.

 

She is survived by her son, Lynn James Lemoine of Bridge City; daughter, Joan Lemoine Siragusa and her husband Larry of Port Neches; sisters, Melba Wells of Port Arthur, and Rita Jane Gillespie of Nederland; grandchildren, Cindy and Shannon Huckeba, Chris Lemoine, and Jason Warren; great grandchildren, Derek and Bayleigh Huckeba, Espirit and McKinsey Williams, Dylan, Kaleb and Aimee Huckeba, Chloe, Zoe, Zane and Hope Lemoine, and Roxanne and Nicholas Warren.

 

Mary Anne is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Leonard Dugas, Ovicle Dugas and Daniel Dugas; and sisters, Claudia Landry and Verna Evans.

 

Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 20, 2011, at Broussard’s, 505 12th Street, Nederland with burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves. A gathering of her family and friends will be Saturday, February 19, 2011, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at Broussard’s.
