Sheffield “Shep” Bridgwater, Jr., 31, of Beaumont died Thursday, February 17, 2011, at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth.  A native and lifelong resident of Beaumont, he was born August 20, 1979, to Judy (Luther) and Frank Sheffield Bridgwater, Sr. He was a member of Local 2286 and was a lineman with Newtron.

Survivors include his father, Sheffield Bridgwater, Sr. and his wife Suzette; mother, Judy Bridgwater; wife, Sandra Bridgwater; three children, Tyler Bridgwater, Hailey Bridgwater, and Tiffany Bridgwater; brother, Ryan Bridgwater; sister, Brittany Bridgwater; grandparents, Thomas E. Luther and Dorris Luther; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family.

His funeral service will be 6:00 p.m. Monday, February 21, 2011, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.  A gathering of his family and friends will be Sunday, February 20, 2011, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at Broussard’s. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Broussard’s Crematorium.
