William C. Looney, 78, of Beaumont, died Friday, February 11, 2011, at Dubius Hospital in Beaumont. He was born November 15, 1932, to Wilber and Thyrza Head Looney. He was an authority on all types of hi-fi and stereo audio equipment.

William is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Thyrza Lee Looney Tyrrell.

He is survived by many good friends including, Marion Caffery Campbell, Tom Sibley, and George Murphy.

His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 15, 2011, at First United Methodist Church, 701 Calder Street, Beaumont, with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont. A gathering of friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m., Monday, February 14, 2011, at Broussard’s.
