Mary Elizabeth Tremont Landrum, 84, of Liberty, died Monday, January 31, 2011, at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth. She was born September 29, 1926, to Tony and Mary Tremont, and was a lifelong resident of Beaumont.

Mary was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church where she was a Eucharistic minister and a member of the St. Pius Ladies. She enjoyed fishing and bowling.

Survivors include her daughter, Donna Busceme and her husband Tommy of Liberty; son, Jimmy Paul Landrum and his wife Barbara of Aguilar, Colorado; grandchildren, Kristi, Clay, and Cody; five great-grandchildren; and brothers, Red Tremont and his wife Beverly of Houston, Leonard Tremont of Arlington, and A.J. Tremont and his wife Sandy of Dallas.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 3, 2011, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 5075 Bigner Road, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont. A gathering of her family and friends will be Wednesday, February 2, 2011, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m, at Broussard’s.  A family committal will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
