LeeRoy C. Bergeron, 72, of Beaumont, died Tuesday, January 11, 2011, at Methodist Hospital in Houston. He was born July 6, 1938, to Paul and Ella Bergeron; and had been a lifelong resident of the Beaumont area. LeeRoy retired as a pipe fitter and safety inspector and had served in the United States Army Reserve.

His survivors include his son, Eric Bergeron of Beaumont; daughter, Rachel Bergeron of Austin; brothers, Bobby Vaughan of China, Richard Vaughan of Lumberton, and Tommy Bergeron and Eddie Vaughan both of Beaumont; sister, Bertha O’Neil of Beaumont; mother, Ella Vaughan of Beaumont; and a host of nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Dana Bergeron; father, Paul Bergeron; and step-father, Edman Vaughan.

His graveside service will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 15, 2011, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont.
