Shelby Lynne Forester, 16, of Lumberton died Monday, January 3, 2011, at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth in Beaumont.
A native of Fresno, California, Shelby had lived in Lumberton for seven years. She was a junior at Lumberton High School where she was an active member of the varsity tennis team. She was a great student and an academic leader. Shelby loved music and next to her family, her friends were most important in her life.
Shelby is survived by her parents, Robert and Michelle Forester of Lumberton; sister, Hailey Forester of Lumberton; grandparents, Charles and Lonnie Forester of Fentress, Texas and Barbara Aeledge of Fred, Texas; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family.
Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, January 7, 2011, at Cathedral in The Pines, 2350 Eastex Freeway, Beaumont, Texas under the direction of Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee, Texas. A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday, January 6, 2011, 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Broussard’s.
