Arlin McKenley Ford, 83, of Kountze, died Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at Harbor Hospice House in Beaumont. Arlin was born October 2, 1927 in Heflin, Alabama to Marcus Alvin and Zebber Lura (Thrower) Ford. A resident of Kountze for thirty years he was a retired carpenter and he also proudly served his country in the United States Army Air Corps during World War II. Arlin was also a longtime member of Honey Island Assembly of God Church.

He is survived by his wife of thirty-two years, Evelyn Ford of Kountze; nephews, Tommy Ford of Lumberton and Al Ford of Fred.

His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 31, 2010 at Broussard’s, 530 W. Monroe, Kountze with Reverend Earl Crawford officiating. Burial will follow at Hooks Cravey Cemetery in Silsbee. A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday, December 30, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Broussard’s.
