Betty Jo Smith, of Beaumont, passed away December 16, 2010, at Clairmont Nursing Home in Beaumont.  She was born November 6, 1928, to Sam and Sarah Genaro of Beaumont.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and her son, Chief Silver Horse of Beaumont.

She is survived by her two daughters, Mary Frederick of Beaumont and Ann Breaux and her husband Bill of Fannett; three grandchildren, Brandon Parker of Katy, Kimberly Crowley of Pasadena, and Jayson Gennaro of Houston; and three great grandchildren, Adrian Parker, Cameo and Tristan Gennaro.
