Sharon Rhae Wismer Dees, 61, of Beaumont, died Tuesday, December 14, 2010, at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth in Beaumont. A lifelong resident of the area, she was born in Port Arthur on September 17, 1949, to Ray and Louise Wismer. Sharon was secretary to the CEO at Baptist Hospital for several years and a Eucharist Minister at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband, Curtis Allen Dees of Beaumont; two sons, Justin Dees of Los Angeles, California and Lowell Dees of Beaumont; one daughter, Jesika Dees of Beaumont; mother, Louise Wismer of Winnie; two sisters, Jeanette Blake of Beaumont and Jynelle Daigle and her husband Kent of Winnie; and niece, Lyndsey Pase of Houston.

Sharon is preceded in death by her father, Ray M. Wismer.

Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 17, 2010, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.  A gathering of her family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, December 16, 2010, at Broussard’s.
