Aimee M. Miller, 76, of Nederland died December 13, 2010 at Gulf Health Care Center in Port Arthur.  Born September 22, 1934 in St. Martinville, Louisiana, she was the daughter of Angelle Douet and Wilbert Joseph Theriot.  She retired with over thirty-five years of service as a registered nurse at Christus St. Mary Hospital in Port Arthur.  Aimee was also a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church and the Pilot Club.

Survivors include her son, David T. “Smokey” Miller and his wife Lacey of Comfort; daughter, Lisa C. Miller and her husband Charles Case of Summit, Mississippi; grandchildren, Jeannetyle Miller, Jeremy Miller and Joshua Miller both of Nederland, Erica Rodriguez Miller Jones, Clint Vogt, Cody Vogt, Claudia Vogt Miller, Noah Case, Natalie Case, Nathan Case; great grandchildren, Braylee Miller, Kimrylee Miller, Sierra Case, Mary B. Case, Emily Case, Lauren Carr, Caroline Carr, Briana, Haley, and Chelsey; and sisters, Annie Theriot of St. Martinville, Louisiana, Joyce Melancon of Lafayette, and Marion Venable of Church Point, Louisiana.  She was preceded in death by her son, John W. Miller; grandsons, David G. Miller and William A. Huff; her parents; a sister; and brothers.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 16, 2010 at Broussard’s, 505 12th Street, Nederland followed by burial at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.  A Christian Vigil will be 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at Broussard’s.
