Frank Thomas, 87, of Frisco, formerly of Beaumont, died Thursday, December 9, 2010.  Born February 16, 1923, in Riverside to Noreen Childress and Frank Thomas, Frank was a retired operator with Texas Gulf Sulfur.  He was a United States Army Air Corps veteran.

Survivors include his daughter, Carol Welborn, granddaughter, Kayla Wiede and her husband Matt, and great granddaughter, Brynlee Wiede all of Frisco; grandson, Grady Welborn and his wife Lindy of Temple; son, Monte Thomas and his wife Cherrise of Vidor; granddaughter, Diane Keller and her husband Doug of Kingwood; grandson, Keith Thomas and his wife Jessica, and great granddaughter, Ava Thomas all of Fort Lewis.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Selma Thomas.

His funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 14, 2010, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. A gathering of his family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Monday, December 13, 2010, at Broussard’s.
