George “Dickie” Falke, Sr., 74, of Winnie died December 2, 2010, at his residence.

Dickie was a retired supervisor with Brown and Root and lifelong resident of the Winnie- Stowell area.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, December 4, 2010, at Broussard’s, 134 W. Buccaneer Drive, Winnie, with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery. 

Dickie is survived by his wife, Evelyn Falke; sons, Wayne Falke and his wife Denita and George Falke, Jr. and his wife Johnny all of Winnie, and Glenn Falke and his wife Belinda of Sour Lake; daughters, Carolyn Bennett and her husband Richard of Kosse and Joy Estrada and her husband Jerry of Houston; brother, Bobby Falke and his wife Myrtle; grandchildren, Mandy Chesson and Billy Falke, Natasha Hudson, Nicole Verm, Samuel Garcia, Amanda, Tanya, and Christopher Falke, Kayla and Josh Sarren, Kara Fling and Melisa Wandser; great-grandchildren, James Tyler Chesson, Crystal Chesson, Allie Verm, Brody Garcia, Pasleigh Garcia and Landon Roger and numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, George Renford and Aline Estelle (Smith) Falke and sister, Sadlie Peyton.
