E.A. “Butch” LaBauve, Jr., 67, of Beaumont, died Monday, November 29, 2010, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas, Beaumont.

He was born April 24, 1943, in Alvin, to Mamie Venona Anderson and Elmo Asa LaBauve, Sr. and had been a resident of the Beaumont area most of his life. Butch retired from his construction company, LaBauve Construction. He was a soccer coach for Spindletop-Beaumont Youth Soccer Club for thirty-two years.

Survivors include his daughters, Cristi Swift, Rebecca LaBauve, and Heather LaBauve, all of Beaumont; and grandchildren, Bailey LaBauve, Ethan LaBauve and Christopher Swift, all of Beaumont.

He is preceded in death by his wife of forty-two years, Judy LaBauve.
