Robert Jake Goins, 68, of Evadale died Saturday, November 27, 2010, at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.

Jake was a life long resident of Evadale and was a construction worker.  He also served in the United States Army during the Korean and Vietnam wars. 

He is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Goins Ogden and her husband Troy of Evadale.  Jake is preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Margaret Goins.

Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 30, 2010, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee with burial to follow at Morse Cemetery in Buna.  A gathering of family and friends will be Monday, November 29, 2010, 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
