Nola Racca, 88, of Winnie died November 27, 2010 in Port Arthur, Texas.  Born May 28, 1922 in Leroy, Louisiana, the daughter of Arcene Boudoin and Dallez Joseph Roy, Nola was a long time resident of Winnie.

Cooking for her family, taking care of her grandchildren, and enjoying her flower garden were things she loved.  She always made sure everyone was taken care of and she lived for her family.

She is survived by her three daughters, Zula Mott of Fannett, Earlene Bellot and her husband Jerry of Port Arthur, and Linda Fournier and her husband Bruce of Nederland; twelve grandchildren, and twenty-three great grandchildren and step great grandchildren.  Nola was preceded in death by her husband, Nelis Racca; and sons, Curley Racca and Nelis Racca, Jr.

Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m.  Monday, November 29, 2010 at Broussard’s Chapel, 134 Buccaneer, Winnie followed by burial in Fairview Cemetery, Winnie.  A gathering of family and friends will be Sunday evening, November 28, 2010 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Broussard’s.
