Joyee May Morrison, 87, of Beaumont, died Saturday, November 20, 2010, at Collier Park in Beaumont.

Born October 19, 1923, in Vermillion, Ohio to Helen Matilda Grisel Kidd and Herbert Kidd; Joyee had lived in the Beaumont area since 1953. 

Survivors include her husband of sixty-four years, Floyd W. Morrison, Jr. of Beaumont; sons, Jerry Morrison and his wife Debby of Euless and Gary Morrison of Evant; grandchildren, Gary Morrison, Jr., Jason Morrison, Darren Morrison and Kristen Baxter; great grandchildren, Wrangler Morrison, Matthew Morrison, Madison Morrison, Shelby Morrison and Sydney Morrison; brother, Herbert G. Kidd, Jr. of Katy; and sister, Alva Thomas of Tomball.

Her graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 23, 2010, at Memory Gardens, 3098 Highway 69 North,  Nederland under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.  A gathering of her family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Monday, November 22, 2010, at Broussard’s.
