Ernest Lege, 71, of Port Neches died, Saturday, November 13, 2010 at his residence.

A native of Kaplan, Louisiana and has lived in Port Neches for the past fifty years. He retired from Livingston Shipbuilder in Orange, he served his country in the United States Army.

Mr. Lege is survived by his wife of fifty years, JoAnn Lege of Port Neches; daughter, Debra Lege-Schrader and her husband Craig; sisters, Sedonia Primeaux of Geydan, Louisiana, Verna Delahoussaye, Myrtis Trahan, and Beverly Gisclaire all of Kaplan, Louisiana.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Eustis and Louise Lege; brothers, Dallas and Joe Lege.

Visitation will be 5:00 until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at Broussard’s Nederland, 505 12th Street, Nederland, Texas 77627. Cremation is under the direction of Broussard’s.
