Lanelle Burchfield, 72, of Beaumont, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, November 9, 2010.  Born June 24, 1938, in Lamesa to Garnett Malone and Vernon Melton; Lanelle had lived in the Beaumont area since 1977.

Survivors include her son, Stephen Helpenstill and his wife Pam; and granddaughter, Nicole Helpenstill all of Friendswood.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Burchfield.

A gathering of her family and friends will be from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Thursday, November 11, 2010 at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday afternoon at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont.
