Joshua Dale Melder, 22, of Warren died Monday, November 8, 2010, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born in Beaumont on February 26, 1988, to Ernest Dale and Sheila Ann (Wornell) Melder. A 2006 Warren High School honors graduate and 2010 Lamar University graduate, Joshua lived most of his life in Warren and was a customer service manager with Walmart in Lumberton.

He is survived by his parents, Ernest and Sheila Melder of Warren; brother, Sheldon Melder of Warren; grandparents, Cherry Hoffmann of Austin and Melvin Wornell of Sugartown, Louisiana; adopted brother, Shawn Wornell of Warren; and numerous aunts, uncles, relatives, and friends.

Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 12, 2010, at Hinson Cemetery in Knight, Louisiana under the direction of Broussard’s, 530 W. Monroe, Kountze.  A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday, November 11, 2010, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at Broussard’s.
