Ben Allan Bogan, 79, of Grapeland, died Thursday, November 4, 2010, at his residence. Born on February 23, 1931 to Glada Faulk and William Bogan, Ben retired as a pipefitter and was a P.R.C.A. All Around Cowboy and Gold Card Member.   Survivors include his daughters, Donna Blincoe of Beaumont and Janis Sibert of Odessa; sons, Richard Wayne Bogan of Grapeland and Jerry Bogan of Overland Park, Kansas; grandchildren, LaJuan Frazier, Timothy Blincoe, James Allan Blincoe, LaRinda Stanley Edwards, Jaimie Bogan Harvey, Brody Bogan, Ovie Powell and Angela Powell; and numerous great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Curtis Allan Bogan; mother, Glada Bogan Faulk; stepfather,  Sam Faulk; father, William Bogan; sisters, Nina Fontenot and Nell Lee; and brother, Bill “Hookem” Bogan.  

A graveside service will be 1:00 p.m. Sunday, November 7, 2010, at China Cemetery under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A gathering of his family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Saturday, November 6, 2010 at Broussard’s, Beaumont.
