Albert Pete LeNormand 
December 12, 1932 - October 18, 2010

Albert Pete LeNormand, 77, of Sour Lake died Monday, October 18, 2010, at his residence. Pete was born December 12, 1932, in Liberty, Texas to Austin Columbus and Gladys (Jewell) LeNormand.  A Sour Lake resident since 2009, he was a retired welder. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during peacetime in France.

 

Survivors include his wife, Mary Elizabeth LeNormand of Kountze; children, Dana Frazier and her husband Bubba of Kountze, Penny Hill and her husband Tommy, Keith LeNormand of Beaumont, and Lana LeNormand of Beaumont; step-son, Lawrence Hugh McEwin and his wife Sandra of Lovelady, Texas; daughter-in-law, Barbara McEwin;  seventeen grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; and sister, Louise Powell of Hull.

 

He was preceded in death by his step-children, David McEwin and Beth Mostik and her husband John.

 

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 20, 2010, at Broussard’s, 530 W. Monroe, Kountze with burial to follow at Pine Ridge Cemetery in Sour Lake.  A gathering of family and friends will be Tuesday, October 19, 2010, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at Broussard’s.
