Geraldine Tomlinson Peco, 89, of Saratoga died Friday, October 1, 2010 at Silsbee Oaks Health Care surrounded by her loving family. Geraldine was born on February 1, 1921 in Old Milvid, Texas to Johnny and Mattie (Biddle) Tomlinson. She lived most of her life in Saratoga and was a longtime member of West End Baptist Church in Saratoga.

Geraldine is survived by her son, Don Peco and his wife Pat of Kountze; daughter, Delores Hinklin and her husband Verne of Thicket; brothers, Reverend Alvin Tomlinson and his wife Lou, Calvin “Pee Wee” Tomlinson and his wife Billy Jean all of Saratoga; grandchildren, Rhonda Bertrand, Clayton Peco, Cheryldine Hughes and Don Hinklin; great grandchildren, Kelsey Bertrand, Carly Bertrand, Megan Hardin, Justin Hughes and Todd Alford; great-great grandchildren, Clifton and Bailey. She is preceded in death by her husband, F.E. “Ed” Peco and her brothers, Basil Tomlinson and Johnny Tomlinson, Jr..

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 4, 2010 at Broussard’s in Kountze with Reverend Don Hinklin and Reverend Alvin Tomlinson officiating. Burial will follow at Old Hardin Cemetery in Kountze. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Sunday, October 3, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Broussard’s.

The family has requested that memorial contributions be made in Mrs. Peco’s name to Alzheimers Association 2242 W. Holcombe Blvd. Houston, Texas 77030-2008.
