Lora Mae Kitchens, 66, of Silsbee died Tuesday, September 28, 2010, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.

She was born in Springhill, Louisiana and had lived in the area for over fifty years.

Lora Mae is survived by her husband, Ezra Dan Kitchens; children, Rethie Hedkvist and her husband Magnus of Spring, Stacy Swearingen and her husband Tommy of Silsbee, Tom Gray of Ft. Worth, Vicki Dumas and her husband Jeff Lane of Lumberton, Theresa Kitchens of Pennsylvania, and Travis Kitchens of Beaumont; grandchildren, Brittany Goode, Anthony Bishop, Katie Odom, Natalie Gray, Evelyn Gray, James Daniel Swearingen, Ethan Gray, Emilea Swearingen, Madison Gray, Renee Kitchens, Autumn Kitchens; sisters, Ima Jean Nelson of Silsbee and Sarah Hobbs of Evadale; and brother, David Blake of Rusk.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Rethie Blake.

Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M.  Friday, October 1, 2010, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee with burial to follow at Kitchens Cemetery in Zavalla.  A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday, September 30, 2010, 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Broussard’s.
