Charlie Coonrod, 96, of Winnie died September 27, 2010, at the Arboretum of Winnie.

A native of Algoa, Charlie had lived in the Winnie area since 1930.  He was a retired foreman with Ebasco Construction Company.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 29, 2010, at Broussard’s Chapel, 134 W. Buccaneer Drive in Winnie with burial in Fairview Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday with a rosary recited at 6:00 PM at Broussard’s.

Charlie is survived by his wife of seventy-four years, Lillian Coonrod of Winnie and numerous nieces and nephews and extended family.
