Nanette Spector Night, 71, of Beaumont died Saturday, September 25, 2010, at Dubuis Hospital in Beaumont. A native and lifelong resident of Beaumont, Nanette was born on December 8, 1938, to Doris Waldman Spector and Hyman Spector. She is survived by her son, Scott Night and his wife Cathy of Dallas; grandsons, Austin Night of Tucson and Ryan Night of Austin; mother, Doris Waldman Spector and James Wolfe of Houston; brother, James Spector of Austin; sister, Jo Ann Spector-Contreras and her husband Al of Sequim, Washington; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Harvey Night and his wife Betty and Ralph Night and his wife Judy all of Beaumont, Bernice Schnurr of Houston, Mel Rich and his wife Gerri of St. Louis, Missouri, and Elton Schackman of Dallas; uncle, Carl Waldman and his wife Sallye of Houston; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Nanette is preceded in death by her husband, Sander David Night, her father and brothers, Robert and Stanley. Her graveside service will be 2:00 p.m., September 26, 2010, in Kol Israel, under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont.
