William "Bill" H. Hale 
August 6, 1933 - September 16, 2010

William H. “Bill” Hale, 77, of Beaumont died peacefully after a lengthy illness, Thursday, September 16, 2010, at his home surrounded by his family.

 

Born August 6, 1933, in Philadelphia, New York, the only child of  Ella Regina LaFave and Earl Milton Hale; he had been a resident of the area since 1955.  Bill was a retired carpenter foreman with the City of Beaumont after thirty-three years of service and was a United States Army veteran having served during the time of the Korean Conflict. 

 

He is survived by his wife of fifty-five years, Helen Marie Shelton Hale; daughters, Sherry Maniscalco and her husband J.L., Sissy Salim and her husband Nick, Teresa McReynolds and her husband James, and Kim Manuel and her husband Paul all of Beaumont; sons, Joe Hale and his wife Sharon of Friendswood, Mark Hale and his wife Sulyn of Beaumont and Billy Barton, who was like a son to Bill, and a brother to his children; grandchildren, Nick Maniscalco, Tony Maniscalco and his wife Kimberly, David Salim, Adam Salim, Travis McReynolds and his wife Kelly, Kristen McReynolds, Hannah McReynolds, Cherri Manuel, Tonya Srader and her husband Steven, Tara Manuel, Jacob Hale, Garrett Hale, Kacie Jo Hale, Sarah Hale and Emily Hale; great-grandchildren, Brittney Maniscalco, Nathan M. Maniscalco, Katlyn Glass, Christopher Glass, Cameron McReynolds, Caleb McReynolds, Kade McReynolds, Jordan Manuel, Brandon Dougan, Hannah Brod and Chloe Manuel; and the Barton Family.

 

He is preceded in death by his parents; and son, Marty.

 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Monday, September, 20, 2010, at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, 4445 Avenue A, Beaumont with burial to follow at Magnolia Cemetery under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A gathering of his family and friends will begin at 5:00 p.m. with Christian Vigil to follow at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, September, 19, 2010, at Broussard’s.   The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to his loving caregivers and the nurses with Texas Home Health Hospice for their care and compassion.
