James E. “Booger” Robin, 72, of Groves died Wednesday, September 15, 2010, at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur.

Mr. Robin was a native and lifelong resident of Nederland. He was an avid fisherman, did a little hunting, raced stock cars, enjoyed watching football, and most of all he loved his family.

Mr. Robin is survived by his son, Greg Robin of Groves; brother, Russell Robin and his wife Patricia of Port Neches; niece, Donna Sue Baird and her husband Bobby; and three nephews, Tommy Robin and his wife Tracy, David Robin and his wife Lanya and Christopher Robin.

He was preceded in death by his niece, Donna Marie Elder.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, September 18, 2010, at Broussard’s in Nederland with Robert Westberry officiating, followed by interment at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A gathering of family and friends will be 5:00 until 8:00 PM, Friday, September 17, 2010, at Broussard’s.
