John W. Burrell, 64, of Houston, formerly of Sour Lake, died Sunday, September 12, 2010, at a residential care facility in Sugarland.

Born July 16, 1946, in Liberty to Evia Bouse and Holder Burrell; John worked for AT&T as an outside plant engineer and was a United States Air Force veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Pat Burrell; son, Durward Burrell; step-daughters, Brenda Baker, Bonnie Baker and Cindy Booth; grandsons, Travis Booth and Tucker Booth; and brother, Neal Burrell.

His graveside service 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 16, 2010, at Landrum Cemetery in Fannett under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont.
