Shirley Temple Barker, 75, of Nederland died at her residence September 5, 2010.  A native of Anadarko, Oklahoma, she had been a resident of the area since 1957.  

She is survived by her husband of over fifty years, Albert “Gene” Barker of Nederland; daughter, Brenda Thibeaux and her husband Gayllan of Nederland; sons, Dennis Barker and Greg Barker both of Nederland; brother, Jackie Mullican and his wife Gaynell of Port Neches; daughter-in-law, Cindy Barker of Nederland; sister-in-law, Jean Mullican of Port Neches; eight grandchildren, Kimberly Barker, Justin Thibeaux and his wife Mari, Johnathon Barker and his wife Alicia, Lindsey Thibeaux, Jeffrey Barker, Jennifer Barker, Johanna Justice and her husband Frankie, and Austin Thibeaux; and four great grandchildren, McKenzie Robertson, Kayleigh Kyles, Brody Barker, and Jude Thibeaux.  Her parents, Riley and Annie Runyon Mullican; and son, Michael Barker preceded Shirley in death.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at Broussard's, 505 12th Street, Nederland followed by burial at Memory Gardens, Nederland.
