Joe Rosa, III, 56, of Beaumont, died Tuesday, August 17, 2010, at St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital in Houston. Born on February 7, 1954 in Beaumont to Isabel Martinez and Joe Rosa, Jr., he was a shop foreman for FESCO Petroleum. He is survived by his wife of thirty seven years, Theresa Manuel Rosa of Beaumont; daughter, Christina Rosa of Beaumont; son, Joe Rosa, IV of Beaumont; sister-in-law, Rita Tait and her husband George of Orange; brother-in-law, Martin Manuel and his wife Avelina of Hamshire; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Joe is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Susanna Rosa. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 20, 2010, at Cristo Rey Catholic Church with burial to follow at China Cemetery under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Thursday, August 19, 2010 with a Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m. at Broussard’s.
