Alfred Earl Hutson, 57, of Honey Island died Tuesday, August 17, 2010, at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth.  Alfred was born August 16, 1953 in Nacogdoches to Ercel Earl and Sybil (Allen) Hutson.  Having lived most of his life in the Kountze area, he was a roughneck in the oilfield.

Survivors include his wife, Nora Hutson of Honey Island; children, Charles Earl Hutson and his wife Kim of Honey Island, Timothy Wade Hutson and his wife Jennifer of Honey Island, and Sheena Sue Palmer and her husband Jonathan of Silsbee; sister, Cheerie Smart and her husband Larry of Silsbee; and six grandchildren, Nichole Gore, Rusty Gore, Clayton Hutson, Madison Hutson, Kaygen Palmer, and Gavin Palmer.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 20, 2010, at Broussard’s, 530 W. Monroe, Kountze with Reverend Jim Cryer officiating.  Burial will  follow at William Hart Cemetery in Kountze.  A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday, August 19, 2010, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at Broussard’s.
