Betty Gene Osborne LeBlue, 74, of Port Neches, passed away Friday, August 13, 2010, at We Care Nursing Facility in Groves.

Mrs. LeBlue was a native and lifetime resident of the Port Neches area. She was a homemaker and a member of Seventh Street Baptist Church in Nederland. She will be remembered for her love of sewing and taking vacations.

Mrs. LeBlue is survived by her husband of twenty-eight years, James LeBlue of Port Neches; sons, Ricky Norris of LaBelle, Brian Norris of Richmond, Darwin Norris of Vidor and James LeBlue Jr. of Spurger; daughters, Kelli Jean Gore of Silsbee and Rose Marie Placette of  Fred; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sister, Yvonne Nicholson and her husband Jerry of Nederland. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Vivian Osborne; son, David Norris; and brothers, Harold, Melvin, Bill, Fred and Ralph Osborne.

Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 16, 2010, at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches under the direction of Broussard’s in Nederland. A gathering of family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday, August 15, 2010, at Broussard’s.
