Cindy Cain Frederick, 52, of Lumberton went to be with our Lord and Savior after a courageous battle with cancer on August 9, 2010.

Born on April 11, 1958, she was a longtime resident of Silsbee and a 1976 graduate of Silsbee High School.  She continued her education at Lamar University in Beaumont and graduated with a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice.  Cindy worked for Jefferson County Adult Probation and later became Director of Adult Probation in Hardin County where she retired in 2010.  She was an active member of the Catholic Church which she joined several years ago.

Cindy is survived by her husband, Brian Frederick of Lumberton; son, Brandon Crow and his wife Kassie of Plano; father, Cecil Cain of Silsbee; brother, Ed Cain and his wife Sonia of Silsbee; granddaughter, Allie Crow of Plano; as well as cousins, in-laws, and nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Jo Ann Cain.

Memorial service will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, August 13, 2010, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.  A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday, August 12, 2010, 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Broussard’s.

Cindy loved her three dogs as well as the numerous dogs that she had in the past.  The family request that memorial contributions be made to the Humane Society of Southeast Texas, 2050 Spindletop Avenue, Beaumont, Texas 77705.
