Billie Frances Roccaforte, 85, of Port Neches, died Sunday, August 8, 2010, at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur. 

She was born September 7, 1924, in Poteau, Oklahoma to Will Robbs and Vivian Frances Taylor, and lived in the area since 1930.  Billie enjoyed painting and was a member of the Texas Artists Museum.  She also loved decorating, gardening and working in her yard.

Survivors include her husband of sixty-six years, Frank Roccaforte, Jr.; daughters, Dian Stampley and her husband Jimmie of Nederland, Gail Jones and her husband Bill, and Robin Patin, all of Port Neches; grandchildren, Jennifer Bernard, Blake Patin; and one great-grandchild, Jace Stampley.  She is preceded in death by two brothers; and one grandson, Rocky Stampley.

Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 12, 2010, at Broussard’s, 505 12th Street, Nederland with burial to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.  A gathering of her family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 11, 2010, at Broussard’s.
