Mary “Joyce” McMinn, 83, of Nederland, died Thursday, August 5, 2010, at Magnolia Manor Nursing Home in Groves.

Mrs. McMinn was a native of Daisetta, Texas and had lived in the Nederland area for sixty-two years. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Nederland.

She is survived by her five daughters, Phyllis Brooks and her  husband Chuck of Richardson, Paula Leeves and her husband David of Lufkin, Pat Kennaugh and her husband Chris of Nederland, Pam Greene and her husband David of Port Arthur, and Peggy Ritter and her husband Allan of Nederland; thirteen grandchildren, Matt Vernon and his wife Lauren, Angela Johnson and her husband Shawn, Shawn Brooks and his wife Jennifer, Greg Leeves and his wife Leslie, Jason Leeves and his wife Melanie, Corey Leeves, Todd Kennaugh, Luke Greene, Clint Greene and his wife Misty, Anney Montalvo and her husband Mike, Whitney Flores and her husband Josh, Peyton Ritter and Will Ritter; sixteen great-grandchildren; two brothers-in-law, Kenneth McMinn and Cecil Verdine; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A gathering of her family and friends will be from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 8, 2010, at Broussard’s, 505 12th Street, Nederland with entombment to follow at 2:30 p.m. at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.
