Lena Ruth Flowers Hargraves, 77, of Fannett, passed away peacefully Wednesday, August 4, 2010, at her home with her family by her side. She was born November 5, 1932, in Saratoga, Texas to Vesta Faye Walston and Prince Ira Flowers.

Survivors include her children, Jennifer Wynne Huckaby, Pamela Sue Beadle, Timothy Lee Beadle, Ira Wilson Beadle, Sabrina Anne Beadle Alfaro and her husband Julian, Sharman Dell Hargraves and Roy Eleson Hargraves, Jr.; step-daughter, Bobbe Dale Hargraves; brothers, Charles Ira “Nubbin” Flowers and his wife Ida “Sis” and Jon Terrell Flowers and his wife Tina; twenty grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and ten nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy E. Hargraves, Sr.; daughter, Angel Hargraves; parents, Vesta Faye “Honey Faye” Walston Flowers and Prince Ira “Daddy Bo” Flowers; sister, Alyce Faye Robertson; and brother, William Mason “Sonny” Flowers.

Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 7, 2010, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. A gathering of her family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, August 6, 2010, at Broussard’s.
