Jack “B.J.” Pearce, 80 of Austin died Saturday, July 31, 2010 at Seton Health Care in Austin.   Funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, August 5, 2010 at Broussard’s in Nederland with Reverend Malcolm Monroe officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Nederland. A gathering of family and friends will be 1:00-2:00 PM, Thursday, August 5, 2010 at Broussard’s.   Mr. Pearce was a native of Paris, Texas and has lived in the area since 1955. He retired from Ameripol/Synpol as an operator of equipment. He enjoyed playing bridge, collecting crystal glassware, stain glass.   Mr. Pearce is survived by his wife, Lucy Pearce of Austin; daughter, Kathleen Villarreal and her husband Tony of Houston; step-daughter, Marsha Lee Howard and her husband Jack Austin; step-son, Ronald Clour and his wife Connie of Lake Sam Rayburn; son-in-law, Kevin O’Brien of Houston, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
