Mary Louise Bonura Meyer, 79, of Beaumont, passed away from this life into the hands of the Lord Saturday, July 24, 2010, at Memorial Hermann Baptist Beaumont Hospital after a brief illness.

A native and lifelong resident of Beaumont, Mary was born January 31, 1931, to Ruby Sharpe Bonura and Frank Bonura.  She was a retired bookkeeper.

Survivors include her son, Chris Meyer; and brothers, Bill Bonura and Joe Lee Bonura.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Elizabeth Bonura; and her brother, Jerry Lynn Bonura.

Her funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, 2010, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont with a family committal to follow at Magnolia Cemetery. A gathering of her family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 27, 2010, at Broussard’s.

The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to the staff of Memorial Hermann Baptist Beaumont Hospital, SETMA and The Clairmont for their care, grace and always treating her like she was special.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
