Mary Louise “Weesie” Courts, 94, of Beaumont, passed away Friday, July 23, 2010, at The Summer Place in Beaumont.

A long time resident of the Beaumont area, she was born January 19, 1916, to Marie Louise Songe Bonin and Dumas Bonin.  Our mother married the love of her life; James C. “Coley” Courts on July 7, 1934, to this marriage seven children were born. Mary enjoyed cooking and entertaining her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of sixty-two years, James C. “Coley” Courts; sisters; brothers; in-laws; and her grandsons, Lance Harvey and Tim McFarland.

Survivors include her daughters, Shirley Burks, Patricia Conley and Nancy White; sons, Charles Courts, Anthony Courts, Jerry Courts and Kirby Courts; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Her funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 26, 2010, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont with burial to follow at Magnolia Cemetery. A gathering of her family and friends will begin at 11:00 a.m. Monday prior to the service at Broussard’s.
