Nathan “Nate” Andrew Strother, 21, of Silsbee died Sunday, July 18, 2010, in Silsbee.

Nathan was born in Galveston and was a lifelong resident of the Silsbee area.  He was a 2006 graduate of Silsbee High School and worked as a construction worker.  He was also a Silsbee Volunteer Fireman.

He is survived by his parents, Ruben and Judy Strother of Silsbee; brothers, Larry Strother and his wife Tiffany and their children, Alyssa and Jazmine, Ruben Strother, Jr. and his wife Britni and their children, Layla and Gary, and Thomas Conner and his wife Michelle and their children Kaitlyn, Thomas, Jr., and Garrett all of Silsbee; sister, Amber Strother and her finance` Marty Wheeler and their expectant child of Silsbee; grandparents, Fletcher and Ruby Strother of Silsbee and Mittie Harrell and her husband Jimmy of Kirbyville; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and his Silsbee Volunteer Fire Department family.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, July 22, 2010, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee with the Silsbee Volunteer Fire Department serving as pallbearers.  Burial will follow at Old Hardin Cemetery in Kountze.  A gathering of family and friends will be Wednesday, July 21, 2010, 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Broussard’s.
