Melina Manning, 71 Nederland, passed away Friday, July 16, 2010, at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur.

Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Monday, July 19, 2010 at Broussard’s in Nederland with Reverend Msgr. Dan Malain officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Nederland. A gathering of family and friends will held at Broussard’s in Nederland, Sunday evening from 4:00-6:00 P.M.

Born in Eunice, Louisiana, Mrs. Manning lived in Port Arthur before moving to Nederland forty nine years ago. She worked for Southwestern Bell as a customer service representative for thirty years. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Nederland. Mrs. Manning is survived by her son. David Manning of Houston; daughter, Jill Manning Cole of Beaumont; brother, J.D. Matt of Nederland; companion, Jim Thomas of Port Arthur; and a host of other family and friends. Memorial contributions may be made to your charity of choice.
