James “Ricky” Rosco Culpepper, 58, of Beaumont died July 16, 2010 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Beaumont Hospital.  A native of Decatur, Texas and resident of Beaumont for the last twenty years, Ricky held a B.A. in computer science and was an account executive with Ricoh America.

He is survived by his wife, Dodie Culpepper of Beaumont; daughter, Rikki Bett and her husband Samwel of Dallas; son, Billy Joe Culpepper and his wife Shellye of Beaumont; stepchildren, Pam Wallace and her husband Mike, Danny Hancock, and Tom Hancock; mother, Effie Jo Culpepper Sheffield; brother, Larry Roland Culpepper; grandchildren, Jubilee Bett, Naomi Bett, Savannah Culpepper, and Anthony Culpepper; step grandchildren, Eric Hancock, Christopher Hancock, Preston Hancock, and Brandon Hancock; and numerous other family members.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 18, 2010, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont followed by burial at Old Hardin Cemetery in Kountze.
