Theodora Louise “Teddy-Lou” Walsh, 82, of Port Arthur, passed away Monday, July 12, 2010 at Christus Hospital St. Mary in Port Arthur, Texas.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 5 to 8 pm Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at Broussard’s in Nederland with a Rosary to be recited at 6:30 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am Friday, July 16, 2010 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, 224 W. 5th Street Crowley, Louisiana 70526. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery in Crowley, Louisiana under the direction of Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home in Crowley. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5 to 8 pm Thursday, July 15, 2010 with a Rosary to be recited at 6:30 pm at Geesy-Ferguson Funeral Home in Crowley.

Mrs. Walsh was a native of Crowley, Louisiana and lived in the Port Arthur area for fifty-four years. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Nederland.

Mrs. Walsh is survived by her daughters, Kathleen Black and her husband Bill of Hamshire, Emma Landry and her husband Butch of Nederland and Molly Wilson and her husband Kent of Nederland. Also survived by eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Walsh and daughter Teri Margaret Walsh.
