William J. “Billy” Ramos, 68, of Beaumont, died Friday, July 9, 2010.  A native of Nacogdoches and resident of the Beaumont area for sixty-one years; Billy was born April 13, 1942, to Zeffie Luna Ramos and Joseph Anthony Ramos.

He was a retired glass installer with Binswanger Glass and Cardinal Glass and was a United States Army veteran.

Survivors include his sisters, JoAnn Sikes and her husband Walter of Lumberton, Johnnie McManus of Beaumont and Veronica Hamilton and her husband Roger of Crystal Beach; nieces, Laura Sikes of Lumberton, Kelly Simon and her husband Chad of Beaumont and Christina Hamilton of Austin; nephew, Jud Hamilton and his wife Agata of Poland; and three great-nieces, Savannah Simon, Rileigh Simon and Helena Hamilton.

His funeral service will be 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 14, 2010, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.  A gathering of his family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 13, 2010, at Broussard’s.
