Norma Thomas, 83, of Beaumont died July 5, 2010 at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth. A native of Cleveland, Ohio and a lifelong resident of Beaumont, she was a member of St. Michael Antiochian Orthodox Christian Church.
Norma is survived by her sons, John Thomas, Rick Thomas and his wife Sandy and Craig Thomas and his wife Claudia; daughters, Sharon Hightower and her husband Roger and Karla Thomas, all of Beaumont; grandchildren, John Thomas, Jr., Holly Thomas, Garrett Thomas, Tyler Thomas, Ashley Hearnsberger, Sarina Thomas, Brittanny Ham and her husband Amos, Taylor Hightower and Trey Hightower; and two great-grandchildren.
Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 9, 2010 at St. Michael Antiochian Christian Orthodox Church with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont. A gathering of her family and friends will be Thursday evening, July 8, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Trisagion at 6:00 p.m. at Broussard’s.
